Todos Brings Trust and Usability to Mobile Authentication - Launches iPhone/iPod Touch App, Announces Android App

Transaction verification goes mobile as Todos AB updates onMobile for Java MIDP mobiles, launches onMobile for iPhone(TM) and iPod Touch(TM) and announces application for the Android platform.

Göteborg, Sweden, November 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Todos's new iPhone application, forthcoming Android application and updated onMobile Java MIDP technology give banks a complete range of solutions for user authentication and transaction verification using the latest mobile phones.

Todos believes that simply replicating tried-and-discredited authentication methods isn't good enough. If users are to feel safe and confident transacting with their phone, they need systems they can rely on. This is why the new Todos onMobile portfolio adds context, informed consent and risk perception in the form of Todos's unique technology: Dynamic Signatures using Sign-what-you-see and Secure Domain Separation.

Dynamic Signatures allows a bank to adjust the level of security according to the riskiness and value of the transaction. Sign-what-you-see confirms key details of a transaction with a user on their mobile phone screen before they sign it. Secure Domain Separation gives ecommerce, banking, digital signatures and one-time passwords their own secure channel; while making life simpler for the user.

Todos has always placed a high value on design and usability. For example, to login users simply press the 'Login' button - no abstract shapes or hard-to-remember key sequences. This attention to detail also applies to their mobile solutions which are as easy to use and convenient as their handheld devices.

And, of course, Todos's onMobile portfolio benefits from all the advantages of the Todos eCode system, including the ability to give each user several different devices at the same time. So, for example, they can use their iPhone while travelling but a connectable smart card reader in the office.

Todos onMobile for iPhone(TM) and iPod Touch(TM) is currently being demonstrated at Todos's stand (4M076) at Cartes 2009 in Paris (17-19th November) along side with all other Todos products. onMobile is already available as a Java MIDP application on all major models and, in Q3 2010, on the Android platform.

"Phones, such as the iPhone, are a very convenient way to verify transactions and authenticate users," says Håkan Nordfjell, Director of Marketing & Global Services at Todos. "Now banks can offer their customers a flexible, secure and trusted way to use Todos technology on mobile devices."
