Jewelry Explosion Gives Back to the Community This Holiday Season

Stoughton, MA, November 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- There are approximately 5.3 million people suffering with Alzheimer's Disease that live in the United States. In fact, every 70 seconds someone develops the disease. The effects are devastating on loved ones and friends. It is the seventh leading cause of death.

To help raise awareness and find a cure, Jewelry Explosion at 747 Washington Street in Stoughton, MA will be holding a Thrift Shopping Day event on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 11:00AM to 6:00PM. Jewelry Explosion will be donating 50% of all proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association. Jewelry Explosion's owner, Shauna works closely with the Alzheimer's Association to help educate the families of those who suffer from the disease as well as find a cure as she had three close family members that suffered from the disease.

Shauna Williams, the owner of the store, will be at the event. In just three years, Shauna's risen from small business owner to prominent Boston area jeweler. As one of the area's most well-known bridal jewelers, she's a rising star. She has been featured on Coach K's radio show, the women's entrepreneurial magazine, Beauties on the Go, and will be featured on the award nominated publication, She takes on the World in December.
