VHA Oklahoma Arkansas, LLC Adopts Quantros Accreditation and Compliance Excellence™ (ACE) to Manage Improvement Efforts of Its Member Hospitals

Regional consultants VHA Oklahoma Arkansas to offer Quantros ACE to network hospitals.

San Francisco, CA, November 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Quantros announces that clinical performance consulting practice VHA Oklahoma Arkansas, LLC (VHAOA) has adopted the ACE solution to help its member hospitals manage their clinical improvement efforts.

Quantros ACE™ is an electronic self-reporting system designed to collect, monitor, report and analyze accreditation and compliance data across an organization. ACE monitors compliance with multiple accreditation and regulatory standards including those of The Joint Commission, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and ISO.

“VHA’s mission is to help our hospitals become better clinical performers,” explains Bruce Naylor, MD, FACP, VHAOA’s Medical Director and Vice President of Clinical Improvement. “One of the ways we do that is by providing the tools to help them assess where they are and what they need to improve on. Quantros ACE will help them gauge their performance and then manage their improvement efforts easily and cost effectively.”

VHAOA provides accreditation consulting to 36 facilities in the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas. ACE will be deployed in a number of different ways throughout the network, including as a report generator for tracking improvement efforts and as a reference tool for researching standards. Currently, hospitals in the VHAOA network seek accreditation through The Joint Commission and surveys have been developed to support their efforts.

Naylor plans on using information generated by ACE to do some comparative analyses as well.

“We are delighted to partner with VHA to help their hospitals pursue their clinical goals,” claims Quantros President and CMO Sanjaya Kumar, MD, MPH. “Each hospital that engages in improvement efforts makes the healthcare environment just that much better.”
