Ottawa, Canada, October 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Ashland Farm in Ashton is proud to host the first ever Select Equine Sales Young Prospects Auction from Oct 26 to Oct 28, 2006.

The auction will feature forty horses, from weanlings to 4 year olds, all boasting world-class bloodlines well known for their spectacular talents in dressage and show jumping.

Ashland Farm is the birthplace of the famous stallion Popeye K who was later sold to the United States, and whose many accomplishments include USEF horse of the year.

As a special incentive, Ashland Farm will be offering a full brother to Popeye K for auction with no reserve. The colt Alystair K already shows superior style over fences, and boasts his brother’s gentle manners and easy-going nature.

Over the three days, spectators will be able to view the horses in-hand and in free jumping demonstrations. Private viewings are also available by appointment. The events will finish with the auction that will be held from 2 – 6 pm on Saturday, Oct 28.
