Octave Match Records Taps Restaurant for Featured Artist CD Signings

Clearwater, FL, December 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In an intriguing move, Octave Match Records has inked a deal with Hiro’s Tokyo Steakhouse and Sushi Bar in St. Petersburg, Florida for artist CD signings. The move comes amid the continuing decline of both record stores and traditional CD sales across the nation. “This move is very outside the box, for a lack of better terms”, said Christopher Houp, President of parent company, HT Media LLC. “But Hiro’s has this fantastic vibe in so many ways, not just a great a place to eat and drink, but the musical vibe late night just really rocks, with hip hop, rap, rock, you name it. I think it fits perfectly with who we are and will be a truly unique place for artist and fan interaction."

The debut date is still being worked out, but according to a source at Octave Match Records, the goal is to have the first such event in February, although the artist has yet to be determined.
