)-- Kelcey Liverpool, founder of Kids Rank, will guest on the Army Wives Network Radio Show (www.ArmyWifeNetwork.com) on December 14th at 8:00 pm E.S.T. Liverpool will talk about her military children clothing line and highlight the importance of supporting the challenges that military children face.
“Military children are really unique in their life experiences. With many relocations, constantly adjusting to new environments and separation from one or both parents, I am always amazed by their resilience. Over the last couple years, my husband and I have come up with a line of children’s clothing, Kids Rank, to celebrate and acknowledge them,” Liverpool said.
There are over 1 million school-age children and youth whose parents serve in the U.S. military. According to the Military Child Education Coalition, military children generally move from six to nine times during their K-12 school years.
The Liverpools are an active duty military family who is designing clothing for military children. Kelcey Liverpool is the mother of 2 daughters and is married to U.S. Navy serviceman, Rudy Liverpool. They have moved 4 times over the last 10 years and most recently finishing a tour in Japan. They created Kids Rank ribbons to commend military children for all the qualities that they have shown and continue to display during their time in the military.
“For Kids Rank we wanted our children to share in the same sense of achievement as their moms and dads. The Kids Rank ribbons were created as a symbol of the traits that they must have being a part of a military family. Kids Rank is proud of the love and support that our children provide and want to acknowledge them,” she added.
