)-- Dennis Allen, most recently VP & Managing Director, Asia Pacific for TaylorMade-adidas Golf, has joined Pure Golf TV (PGTV) as President. In his new role, Mr. Allen will be responsible for building the Pure Golf brand and developing worldwide marketing strategies in preparation for the launch of the channel in Q2 2010. "Dennis’ decision to join our executive team adds a significant dimension to our growth,” PGTV Founder and CEO Robert Bondonno said. “His golf industry experience and worldwide relationships will prove invaluable to PGTV, and enable us to accelerate the development of our business model.”
Mr. Allen brings an extensive background in the golf and media industries with demonstrated success as a visionary, trusted consultant, and superior leader. His depth of experience includes global business development, penetration of new markets, and establishment of strategic alliances in vastly different cultures.
As Product Manager for Golf Balls Worldwide in the late nineties, Mr. Allen helped develop and execute a marketing strategy on a global scale that doubled market penetration in Japan. In 1999, he was appointed President, Acushnet (Japan), and grew distribution exponentially in 15 key markets. In 2005, he became VP & Managing Director, Asia Pacific for TaylorMade-adidas Golf in Hong Kong where he managed TMaG’s golf business in 13 countries, and led his team to revenue and profit growth exceeding 120% in less than four years.
