Boulder, CO, December 12, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, owner, author and creator of Pawfriendly Landscapes, was a guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Boulder on December 3, 2009. Elizabeth was invited to speak by Jim Snyder of the Kiwanis Club at the Broker Restaurant in Boulder, Colorado.
Elizabeth discussed how to create a dog friendly yard that does not have to be redone every year with a power point presentation. During the discussion, there was a Q & A with numerous topics discussed.
Elizabeth explains, "I really enjoy questions and lots of feedback. My niche is so unusual yet necessary for homeowners with dogs. We offer so many economical solutions that are cruel free - no shock collars or confinement. Dogs' habits add interest to yards so we incorporate the correct landscape material to create a more beautiful and functional yard for dog owners."
Pawfriendly Landscapes was established in 1998 with the philosophy to create beautiful yet functional yards for homeowners. Elizabeth released her first book, How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney, is a writer for The American Dog Magazine and blogs for PeTA Prime, Denver Botanic Gardens and Colorado Gardening.
