)-- Renowned Arizona chef Charles Wade Schwerd is inviting Valley residents to join him this New Year’s Eve as his latest culinary masterpiece, Arrowhead Grill, welcomes 2010 with a special Champagne dinner and toast this year.
The Glendale restaurant will offer service and a Prix Fixe Champagne dinner from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, with a special menu including Lobster Bisque, Mushroom Soy Encrusted Chilean Sea bass, a 22-ounce Prime Rib, Lobster Tail as well as three different Champagnes including Prosecco, Roederer and Perrier Jouet. Reservations are required, and are limited to the first 50 people.
Along with this incredible Champagne dinner, Arrowhead Grill will be offering its normal menu from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
After the Champagne dinner, Arrowhead Grill will ring in the New Year with a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight with the legendary Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne.
“We want to make this New Year’s special for Valley residents and we couldn’t think of a better way to do that than with this Champagne dinner,” Schwerd said. “We’ll even watch the Times Square Ball drop.”
Schwerd has spent the past two decades carving out a reputation as one of the Valley’s finest chefs. His passion for food left an indelible stamp on restaurants such as Mastro’s Steakhouse, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Drinkwater’s City Hall Steakhouse, where he was founding chef, and most recently, John Elway’s Steak House in Denver, Colo.
