Welch, Ph.D., to President of the Company. Dr. Welch, who joined the Company in 2004 as Vice President and rose to the Executive Director position a year later, will continue to report to Patti D. Hill, CEO of BlabberMouth. Hill previously held the title of President.
Since Dr. Welch joined the Company, BlabberMouth has experienced strong financial and operational growth, gaining new accounts in the software, automotive, consumer electronics, healthcare, global information systems and publishing markets.
As President of BlabberMouth PR, Dr. Welch will oversee all activities relating to the day-to-day operations of the Company. She will also focus on the strategic direction for BlabberMouth PR and play a pivotal role in leading the management team.

Welch holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in social / experimental psychology. Following seven years of graduate education at the University of Florida and a six-year professorship at California State University, Fullerton, Dr. Welch brought her wealth of knowledge and experience in business and social psychology to BlabberMouth PR.
As a testament to her ability to successfully interface with and influence diverse audiences, she was twice voted Professor of the Year. Dr. Welch’s experiences that specifically address client needs include expert, audience-targeted communication of complex ideas; management of large research and writing teams; professional presentations for conference and lay audiences; authorship of dozens of technical and lay documents, publications, and grants; facile comprehension of diverse research and private-sector fields; and analytical, critical thinking, and statistical skills necessary for evaluating the effectiveness of media campaigns in today’s competitive environment. Additionally, Dr. Welch served on Cal State Fullerton’s Ethics, Research, Gerontology, Childcare, and Research boards as an elected member and has been a member of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, the American Psychological Association, the Chronicle for Higher Education, and the Gerontological Society of America. Currently, she serves as the strategic advisor and media relations specialist on behalf of clients in numerous industry verticals, in addition to her pro bono work as Communications Chair for the San Antonio Chapter of the American Diabetes Association’s board.
