Rider-Exchange LLC Completes Acquisition of REELcomp Inc., Incorporates Company into Premier Social Network for Action Sports

New business alliance strengthens company focus on creating a platform showcasing new talent in the extreme sports industry

Incline Village, NV, December 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rider-Exchange LLC has completed its acquisition of REELcomp Inc., the company announced today. REELcomp provides a rich consumer experience for on-line users in Snowboard, Skate and Surf communities with a new Ski community, ladies competitions and marketplace planned for early 2010. The combined force of REELcomp and Rider-Exchange strengthens the company’s ability to provide a premier destination to upload original footage, compete in on-line competitions and watch live webcasts of popular extreme sports events.

“We are excited to acquire and enhance the REELcomp website. We will continue to expand on the tremendous brand and culture that REELcomp has already established adding monthly cash awards, prize contests and generous contests that send winners on dream destination vacations,” said Tresten Sweigard, Rider-Exchange LLC Founder.

“We will keep the brand and image that REELcomp has established in the industry, but the underlying philosophy will slightly change,” said Bob Witty, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. “Rider-Exchange plans to release a cutting-edge social network with instant messaging, mobile applications and group chat in mid-2010.” Witty added, “We want to create the ultimate user experience around the sports and people we hang out with. This is my sports social network, not my personal or business social network.”

“The other key point for us is to not look like every other extreme sports website,” Sweigard said. “I grew up snowboarding in Lake Tahoe and the people and the culture are so important to me. Rider-Exchange will focus on the youth and the culture of these sports we love so much. Riders, photographers, videographers, teams, artists, musicians will all be featured, basically, anything that touches our lifestyle. We are an internet platform not a website, a platform that showcases the talent that creates our culture.”

In other news, Rider-Exchange has agreed upon its “Community Ambassadors”, a team of world-class athletes to represent our website,” Witty said. “These athletes will bring outstanding personalities, great talents and are true cultural icons of their sport. We are honored to have them on board.”
