Amber Alert Issued for Louisiana Infant (Takiyah Walker - Age 19 Months)

Springfield, IL, October 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- A 27-year-old woman and her 19-month-old daughter are believed to have been kidnapped today by the child’s father in northeast Louisiana’s Concordia Parish.

The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office issued an “Amber Alert” and said in a news release that Amanda Walker and her daughter Takiyah were forced into a van in the Concordia Parish community of Ridgecrest.

The suspect is Donald Ray Walker, 30. The sheriff’s office said blood was found at the residence by investigators. The suspect vehicle is a 2003 Beige Buick Century with Louisiana license plate number of PFE220.

Donald Ray Walker is described as a black man, 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds.

Amanda Walker is a white woman. The 19-month-old child was last seen wearing only a diaper, with her hair in a pigtail.
