Florida Cosmetic Surgeon Now Offering Flexible Payment Options through CareCredit

Accent Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics partners with healthcare finance organization to provide flexible payment options to patients.

Gainesville, FL, January 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Financing a cosmetic or plastic surgery procedure, whether it’s optional or necessary, is a big challenge for many patients. Florida cosmetic surgeons at Accent Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics (http://www.accentmd.com/florida-plastic-surgery/) are announcing a new partnership with CareCredit, a subsidiary of GE Money Company, to give patients a flexible financing option for procedures at its Gainesville plastic surgery clinic.

CareCredit works much like a regular credit card except it is used exclusively for healthcare expenses at participating providers. Patients of the Florida cosmetic surgery center will be able to choose a no interest or low interest payment plan to finance a wide-range of cosmetic and plastic surgery options available at Accent Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics. Patients can take advantage of no interest financing for up to 18 months after their procedure and low interest financing for up to 60 months if they need more time to pay their balance.

“Introducing CareCredit will make life changing cosmetic and plastic surgery options available to a wider cross section of people,” comments Dr. Bruce A. Mast, lead surgeon at Accent Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics. “Especially since many of our procedures are not covered by health insurance, the CareCredit card will give patients who may otherwise not be able to afford it the opportunity to obtain treatments that will enhance their lives and give them a renewed sense of confidence.”

Interested plastic surgery patients can apply for the CareCredit card independently and acceptance is based on the credit worthiness of the applicant. If accepted, patients will have a revolving line of credit that can be used repeatedly for any family member at any participating healthcare provider. Patients at the Florida cosmetic surgery center will be able to pay for their procedure using the card like a regular Visa or Mastercard.

Mast goes on to say “Many patients forego treatments and procedures because they simply cannot afford them. We hope CareCredit can give patients a flexible financing option so they do not have to delay their cosmetic and plastic surgery procedure any longer.”
