“In a pragmatic response to that fact, we have teamed up with Hellmann Worldwide in Poland to further develop and strengthen our presence in this key trade.
“With branches throughout Britain and Ireland, Davies Turner is already one of the leading groupage and full load operators for Central Europe, whilst Hellmann has also developed its own cost-effective service infrastructure in Poland and the Baltic States, including a nationwide distribution network with its own regional depots. Hellmann likewise enjoys a good reputation both for reliability and is one of the foremost groupage specialists in Poland and the Baltic States. With our experienced team in Davies Turner combined with the high standards our partners maintain in Poland for transport and logistics we have an excellent opportunity to continue expanding our market share and to provide comprehensive and top quality service.”
Both Davies Turner and Hellmann Worldwide belong to System Alliance Europe – the association of independent forwarders, through which the two companies give customers easy access to PODs online and complete visibility of the door-to-door movement of their cargoes.
