Elk Grove Community Band and Pleasant Grove High School Concert and Jazz Bands Join Together for Their 3rd Annual Benefit Concert & Dinner

Elk Grove, CA, January 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A festive “Tacos & Tunes” concert and dinner will showcase the Elk Grove Community Band combined with the Pleasant Grove High School Concert and Jazz Bands for its 3rd Annual Benefit Concert and Dinner. This fun-filled event will be held Monday, February 1st, 2010 at the PGHS Cafeteria from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. All proceeds from this event will help support the Katherine Albiani Middle School and Pleasant Grove High School music programs.

A taco dinner will be provided by Baja Burrito, complete with the choice of chicken, carnitas or veggie tacos, served with tortillas, chips, rice, beans, drinks and dessert. The event will also feature a “silent auction", with amazing gifts.

The Community Band will be performing selections of famous “romantic” themed music and the PGHS Concert Band and PGHS Jazz Band will also be performing new selections from their repertoire. This is also a wonderful opportunity to introduce young people to concert music and music education while enjoying a great meal and supporting a wonderful program.
