You don't want to miss Silver City's own Root Skankadelic in an encore performance, playing their well-honed original style of soulful and spiritually-expressive reggae-inspired dance music.
Club Kilimanjahro is located at 33 Subway Street, Bisbee, AZ, 85603, near the Bisbee Chamber of Commerce, behind The Alley. There is a $10 cover fee for this music event. Doors open at 9 pm with music lasting way past midnight.
Like all performances at Club Kilimanjahro, this is an All-Ages, N0-Smoking, positive-movement reggae show, so bring all your coolest friends and family!
Kicking off Fall with Bisbee's bigest celebration weekend of the year never felt so good... folks from Tucson, Silver City and surrounding areas will travel near and far to attend this phenomenal Bisbee halloween event... such a musical hi-vibe love-fest never imagined.
Returning to Bisbee after their wildly successful summer debut, Root Skankadelic is a 7-piece All-Original funk reggae jamband created in Spring 2004 out of spiritual and revolutionary necessity in the funky and happening little southwest New Mexico town of Silver City. What started out as a way for friends to hang out, express life's passions, and play transformative music has turned into quite an addition to the southwest reggae scene. Politically conscious with heavy soul and bass, Root Skankadelic's All-Original music brings a vibe that rocks well beyond ordinary confines... from roots to dancehall and love... Root Skankadelic is forging this unique path with passion and humility.
Over the past year, the band has traveled from Silver City to play its original style of dance-conscious-jam-reggae-funk music to satisfied crowds in Las Cruces, El Paso, and Terlingua, TX. Now the time has come once again to share the RSD vibe with Bisbee.
