Telmar Network Technology Repair Facility is First to Achieve TL 9000 Certification in India

Manesar, India, January 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Telmar Network Technology announced that it has achieved the first TL 9000 certification for an independent repair company in India. The India repair facility joins Telmar’s other facilities around the world that have completed the TL 9000 certification requirements.

The Manesar, India, facility opened in early 2009, achieved ISO (International Standards Organization) certification, the first milestone toward TL 9000 certification, within three months of operational startup, and completed the entire certification within six months.

An active member of QuEST Forum, Telmar is the only provider registered and certified in both the TL 9000 procurement and repair services product categories and one of a few providers of pre-owned solutions currently registered to the TL 9000 procurement standard. Telmar’s facilities in Plano, Texas; Irvine, California; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Tampa, Florida; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada, are TL 9000 certified. Its facilities in Solihull, United Kingdom, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and Antwerp, Belgium, are ISO 9001 certified.

TL 9000 is the quality management standard for the telecommunications industry developed by the QuEST Forum industry association. The standard includes all of ISO 9001, plus 92 additional telecom specific requirements and measurements focused on design, development, production, delivery, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications products and services.
