ASID Industry Partner, Solar-X of Sarasota recently completed the first of what is hoped to be many donated installations of Panorama® window film on a home rehabilitated by Habitat for Humanity (Sarasota).
"When I approached our manufacturer; Bekaert Specialty Films, about our desire to work with Habitat, they were; as usual, enthusiastic and generous", said Solar-X President Lyman MacNutt. "They have made an ongoing commitment to provide us the film – we will provide the labor – free of charge, so that we might help Habitat homeowners to lower their energy bills."
"Dean Shelton (Habitat's Director of Construction and Field Operations) was great to work with, and equally enthusiastic", said MacNutt. "Dean has stated he would like to use Panorama® window film on any project where the windows are still serviceable and don't require replacement; thereby saving money for other additional "rehab" projects.
