Net Media Planet Wins Perfume Shop Account

London, United Kingdom, January 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Perfume Shop has awarded Net Media Planet the contract for its paid search account following a highly successful three month trial period. Net Media Planet was initially appointed in October to take on the retailer’s account from Greenlight.

In the final quarter of 2009 Net Media Planet was responsible for running the most successful online campaign ever for the retailer in the run up to Christmas, working in tandem with the company’s advertising campaign around the X Factor, with sales increasing by over 280% in the same period year on year.

Matt Walburn, Head of Marketing at the Perfume Shop commented:

“With our steep growth plans for theperfumeshop.com, it was vital to find a PPC agency that could not only deliver on the customer numbers but also had the client-facing skills to make it a productive relationship ongoing, something that is essential to our business.

“Netmedia Planet stood out from the crowd in terms of talking our retail language and being energized by the exciting opportunity ahead; to establish our strong high street brand quickly, and firmly, into the online arena.”
