Nu-Heat at Ecobuild 2010

Honiton, United Kingdom, January 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For the third year running, Nu-Heat will showcase the company’s heat pump, solar thermal and underfloor heating technology at the EcoBuild event at Earls Court.

The leading renewables and underfloor heating specialist will be exhibiting some of the most energy efficient, low-carbon home and water heating systems on the market, including ground source and air source heat pumps, a flat plate solar thermal panel and warm water underfloor heating.

Nu-Heat has provided support to a number of national house builders and RSLs in the supply and design of heat pumps, solar and underfloor heating systems and their presence at the show offers visitors an insight into how these technologies work and, more importantly, how their integration can contribute towards different levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

‘With the higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes there is a greater need for renewable technologies to satisfy energy requirements. Specification standards for new-build homes have significantly increased in recent years, allowing renewable technologies including heat pumps and solar panels together with underfloor heating to make a positive impact on highly insulated properties,’ explains Andy Hooper, Nu-Heat’s Business Development Manager.

‘The Nu-Heat range of products all integrate seamlessly to provide a heating and hot water system tailored to the individual needs of a property. All of the fittings necessary to complete the installation are also supplied as part of the package. With the single point of contact, house builders can be saved considerable time and effort.’

In order to provide a solution to fit any property, Nu-Heat has implemented partnerships with renowned manufacturers Roth for solar collectors and Stiebel Eltron, NIBE and Hitachi for provision of the widest range of heat pumps. Nu-Heat’s latest offering, Hitachi’s YUTAKI is one of the highest efficiency air source heat pumps currently available, with a Coefficient of Performance of 4.28.

For those tasked with meeting energy efficiency targets, Eocbuild offers a great platform for experienced renewables providers like Nu-Heat to talk about cost-effective, realistic and achievable implementation strategies.
