Dallas, TX, January 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- HVAC Industry Veteran Joe Vincenti Joins Firespray International As Vice President for North American Operations

Joe Vincenti has joined Firespray International as vice president for the company’s North American operations. He will lead U.S. and Canadian market expansion for Firespray International, a world leader in the design and manufacture of fire resistant ductwork systems for commercial buildings under the highly successful Flamebar BW11 brand.

Vincenti’s responsibilities include handling the firm’s innovative fire rated duct system and spearheading the North American market launch of the first factory-coated, fire-resistant grease duct system for commercial kitchens available in the U.S. that is tested and evaluated to ASTM E2336 and UL1978 standards and complies with requirements of the International Mechanical Code the Uniform Mechanical Code and the NFPA 96.

“Joe’s extensive background in working with design engineers, architects, owners and the contracting community is of significant value to our network of licensees and customers alike,” said Ken Baker, president of Firespray International’s U.S. and North American operations. “These are exciting times for our company and his experience is well suited to this leadership role.”

With 14 years of experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, Vincenti most recently managed a five-state territory for Firespray’s Florida-based licensee. He previously worked with Italian air conditioning manufacturer Pal International, establishing that company’s distribution system throughout the United Kingdom and launching its U.S. market sales, as well as supporting sales and training for the firm in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

“The next phase of Firespray International’s growth brings the building industry innovative solutions that have proved their value in international use -- and have tremendous potential in the United States and Canada,” said Vincenti. “The Flamebar shaft alternative and grease duct systems directly address the key shortcomings of conventional solutions. Now that these competitive alternatives comply with all relevant U.S. standards, it’s a great opportunity to be working with Firespray.”

Vincenti graduated with honors from Washington State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and also holds a master of business administration degree from Pepperdine University.

Firespray International is recognized worldwide in the design and manufacture of specialized fire ducting systems in a diverse range of commercial and industrial sectors, including fire-rated ductwork (smoke exhaust, pressurization, lab exhaust, car park exhaust, risers in multi story buildings, etc.), and commercial kitchen extract duct work.
