FACE Foundation Donates 40 Craniofacial Treatments

Milwaukee-based Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery donated 40 craniofacial deformity treatments last year through its foundation to those most in need.

Milwaukee, WI, January 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery, a medical cosmetic practice serving Milwaukee for over 40 years, donated 40 craniofacial deformity treatments in 2009 to patients internationally and in Wisconsin through its Foundation for the Advancement of Cranio Facial Education (FACE). The foundation was established in 1990 by Roger Mixter, M.D., board certified plastic surgeon for Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery.

FACE’s mission is to treat patients born with craniofacial birth defects, like cleft lips and palates, who are unable to pay due to lack of income and insurance. FACE serves patients internationally and locally in Wisconsin. The FACE Foundation also provides advanced surgical training to plastic surgeons in foreign countries.

The Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery is located at 5201 North Port Washington Road in Milwaukee, with a second office at 10500 West Loomis Road, Suite 110 in Franklin.
