New Software from Autologica Helps Auto Dealers Manage Fixed Assets

The Fixed Assets software package complements the company's DMS (dealer management system) used by auto and heavy equipment dealers around the world.

San Juan, PR, January 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Autologica today announced the release of its Fixed Assets software package, an add-on module for its well-established Autologica Dealer Management System product used by auto dealers around the world.

Autologica Fixed Assets is fully integrated with the company’s DMS solution, specifically with the Accounting module, and addresses fixed asset purchases and sales, depreciations, accelerated depreciations, the process to roll back depreciations, and other similar issues.

Auto dealers can record fixed asset depreciations based on the length of life of these assets; the software also helps dealers create a depreciation plan, restore capital invested in fixed assets, generate reports and create financial statement appendices.

Other significant features include:

+ Increased control over fixed assets
+ Value fixed assets at their residual value
+ Save time in the generation of monthly and accelerated depreciations
+ Manage depreciations by store and by brand
+ Eliminate fixed assets, including mass write-offs, when there are related assets (due to obsolescence, sales, loss)

+ Categorize fixed assets or differentiate them by areas or sub-areas
+ Carry out inflation adjustments for each fixed asset
