ATCOM Inks Deal with Furnitureland South

Company Seeks to Improve Call Handling and Customer Service and Sales Team Management for Home Furnishings Showplace

Raleigh, NC, October 24, 2006 --(PR.com)-- David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions, a communication solutions provider, has announced that the company has signed a deal with Furnitureland South, a home furnishings showplace with more than 1 million square feet of furniture based in Jamestown, North Carolina, to provide a new telecommunications system to improve handling of inbound sales and customer service calls, as well as better management capability of customer service and sales teams. This system will include Mitel 3300 Converged Solution, Unified Messaging Server, ACD Call Center software with extensive reporting capabilities for multiple departments and IP handsets to each desktop.

The system will allow Furnitureland South operators to monitor and track calls, retain more details about them, and run reports on incoming calls and their status. These reports will assist company managers in staffing and training as well as provide the highest quality of customer service, as the system will consolidate call coverage and allow backup and assistance that can reduce hold times and money spent on long distance.
