Dallywood to Host Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade and Carter Oosterhouse of Carter's Kids Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas Beautification Project During NBA All Star 2010

Friday February 12, Carter, Dwayne Wade and Dallas Mayor Tom Lepport Join 500 Local Kids in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Turnkey Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas Beautification Project and Community Celebration.

Dallas, TX, February 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Friday February 12, 2010, Celebrity Carpenter, Carter Oosterhouse of Carter's Kids will team up with Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade of Wade's World Foundation and over 500 children that are active members of the Boys and Girls Club to redesign the teen room and gymnasium; and install new playground equipment and landscaping. The children will participate in the project from conception to completion.

The Gymnasium and Playground will be unveiled at a special ribbon cutting ceremony where the newly renovated gym will be named “D. Wade's Court”. Special guest will include Texas State Senator Royce West and Dallas Mayor Tom Lepport. The unveiling will take place the Friday of NBA All Star Weekend, February 12th from 4-6PM at The Turnkey Boys & Girls Club located at 6539 Treetop Lane in Dallas. Special guests will include Carter Oosterhouse, NBA Superstar Dwayne Wade, Texas State Senator Royce West, Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert and hundreds of Boys & Girls Club members from the Greater Dallas area. The event is being produced by The MedHealth Group, DES, HELO, Kamileon Events and Dallywood Society Inc.

The Community Celebration is scheduled from 3-6pm and is open to the public. “This celebration is an opportunity for the entire Dallas community to get involved with the project and reconnect with the priorities of the community...”, said Merci Jeigh of Dallywood Society. Local businesses and community supporters will attend the celebration to provide gifts, awareness and involvement.

Radio partner K104 and celebrity on-air personality KiKi J (Street Swag Sunday) will be broadcasting live from the event. There will be face painting, toy give-a-ways, complimentary food, and live entertainment from music artists Bentley, CAMP8 Boyce, Bone of Bonecide Entertainment, Lauren Ashley and national recording artists Prince Charming and Southside of GS Boyz (Stanky Legg) and Dorrough (Cream Paint Job).
