Las Vegas, NV, February 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Amber Sandhoff, CEO and co-founder of ParentYourParents.com will be discussing how to get the most out of the #1 Elder Care Information source: ParentYourParents.com. Listen live at www.wvoc.com.

ParentYourParents.com is an elder care information resource for adult children of aging parents, caregivers and seniors. ParentYourParents.com provides information on over 50 categories of senior related businesses, senior care services, elderly care solutions and senior services. In addition, visitors will find individual state and local Provider directories and elder care information such as assistance programs, senior centers, VA benefits, Medicaid, Medicare, senior home care, senior living, helpful links, and articles to help caregivers, seniors and those seeking information and elder care solutions.

Sandhoff launched ParentYourParents.com after suddenly being thrust into a caregiver’s role. With no notice she found herself in a position of caring for her ill father long distance. Upon seeing him in the hospital and talking with his doctors, none of whom were optimistic, she started a caregiver’s journey that continues today.

On the heels of the crisis with her father, her step-father had a setback with treatment for prostate Cancer and chose to stop all treatment. As her step-father’s wish was to remain at home, Sandhoff was faced with helping her mother go through the terrible heartbreak of letting her husband pass on.

By going through these life experiences, Sandhoff realized she was not alone in facing and dealing with aging parent's health and livelihood. “Our parents not only look to us for help, but they see us as a resource and depend on us for guidance. That is why I decided to launch ParentYourParents.com,” says Sandhoff. “To help people who don’t know where to turn for help and information about caring for their aging loved ones.”
