Audio Network Announces Composer of the Month for February 2010

Audio Network is delighted to name the eloquently melodic musician Helen-Jane Long as Composer of the Month for February 2010.

London, United Kingdom, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- With February being the month of romance, Audio Network is proud to announce consummate composer of strong thematic music, Helen-Jane Long as current Composer of the Month.

Already established in both the commercial and media music worlds as a composer who writes strong, thematic and beautifully melodic music, Helen’s debut album Porcelain is currently the top selling album on America’s largest classical radio station and her recent US tour was a sell out.

A multi-instrumentalist herself (she is an experienced pianist, singer, clarinettist, guitarist, organist, violinist and cellist), she is also an accomplished orchestrator with an innate understanding of orchestral colour and texture. Audio Network was first introduced to Helen while she was orchestrating for Howard Shore on the massive Lord of the Rings trilogy. Creative Director Andrew Sunnucks said, “It was at once apparent that Helen was not only a special talent but a focused, ambitious and driven character who was extremely determined to make her way in Hollywood.”

These talents made her an obvious choice for Audio Network and the liaison has been a happy one. In fact, Helen says, “I love writing for Audio Network because it just doesn’t feel like work - they all have a great sense of fun and humour and at the same like to do things properly!”
