David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions (www.atcombts.com), a communication solutions provider, has announced that the company has donated a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system to Hospice of Wake County’s new facility.

Raleigh, NC, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions (www.atcombts.com), a communication solutions provider, has announced that the company has donated a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system to Hospice of Wake County’s new facility. Designed to ease the strain on health care facilities, and expand the availability of grief counseling and communitywide programs, the new facility includes a hospice home, administrative building, sanctuary, and grounds, and is located at 250 Hospice Circle in Raleigh. The VoIP system will allow for improved communication for all Hospice staff and volunteers, and ensure quality care for Hospice patients.

Quotes:
“Everyone at ATCOM was pleased to support Hospice of Wake County,” said Finch. “With their new facility, Hospice of Wake County will be able to serve patients in their hospice home on campus, along with serving patients in their own homes. Our hope is that communication will be streamlined and effective for everyone involved.”

“We are most appreciative to David Finch and the ATCOM team for the generous donation of telephone equipment to our new hospice care center,” said Michael Blanchard, vice president of development for Hospice of Wake County. “The Finch family has been faithful supporters of ours for many years, so I know this project has held a special place in David’s heart. In addition, we have been business partners with ATCOM for quite some time and have enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with them. This gift is a vital in-kind donation to the building campaign that saved us the expense of purchasing a comparable phone system. In return for this donation, we have named the family/visitor office in our new hospice home in honor of ATCOM.”
