Lavendon Access Services Promotes from Within

Lutterworth, United Kingdom, February 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lavendon Access Services (LAS), the UK’s leading provider of powered access, has promoted two senior team members.

Dave Barton has been appointed to the UK Board in his role as UK Business Development Director.

Dave joined the business from The Platform Company when it was acquired in April 2008. He quickly established himself as an important member of the UK Sales Team and later moved into the position of Business Development Director in March 2009.

Andy Wright, UK Chief Executive, Lavendon Access Services said “Dave’s elevation to the Board is further recognition of the excellent results he has delivered since joining the company. His focus within the Board will be to ensure that our Differentiation Strategy is fully developed and is communicated and implemented across the UK Sales team.”

In addition, James Watson has been promoted to the newly created role of International Business Development Director within the Lavendon Group Plc.

James also joined the business from The Platform Company in April 2008 and has achieved success in his role as Southern Sales Director. In his new role James will concentrate on building relationships with International customers to provide service and equipment to large projects across several of our operating countries.
