Amber Alert Issued for Joliet Girl (China A. Campbell - Age 2)

Springfield, IL, October 27, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Joliet Police Department and The Illinois State Police have issued an Amber Alert for China Campbell (2).

She was abducted by an unknown male African American suspect who was driving an older model black or blue Mercury Cougar with unknown Illinois license plates.

The suspect gave the mother and children a ride to the shelter. When the mother exited the vehicle the suspect fled with the two children. The older child escaped and is in protective custody. The suspect was last seen heading westbound from the scene.
