Blueprint Systems Deploys Agilis's Orion Network Licensing Platform; Case Study Published

Santa Clara, CA, February 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Agilis Software today announced that Blueprint has deployed Agilis's Orion Network Licensing Platform to manage licenses for their Java-based award-winning requirements solutions. Several Orion-based license deployment models are now in production, including floating licensing and desktop licensing.

Orion’s support for the full range of licensing scenarios with a single application integration and executable enables Blueprint to provide the same product download package to customers who purchase floating licenses managed by an Orion License Server installed within their worldwide intranets, and to customers that purchase a desktop license.

In this case study Blueprint engineers describe their experience with Orion, including integration with their multi-platform Java application, using a third-party obfuscation tool together with Orion, how Orion allows them to secure licenses running on virtual systems, controlling product features with Orion, using time-limited licenses to enforce a periodic audit of the customer's license usage, supporting Orion Servers installed on their customers premises, and more.
