San Francisco, CA, February 11, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Due to its unabated popularity, The Marsh is proud to extend Ann Randolph’s acclaimed Loveland, now in its sixth month at The Marsh, for the fourth time. The show will play at The Marsh San Francisco through April 25th, 2010, and then move to The Marsh Berkeley from May 8 – June 13, 2010. Directed by Matt Roth, Loveland’s San Francisco schedule will continue to be Saturdays at 8:30 pm and Sundays at 7:00 pm. When the show moves to the Marsh Berkeley on May 8, it will play on Saturdays at 5:00 pm and on Sundays at 2:00 pm. For tickets, the public may call Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006 or visit www.themarsh.org.
The audience is advised to fasten their seat belts as Randolph recounts the emotional, hilarious and deeply human journey of Frannie Potts, an irreverent, lovable woman, never shy to speak her mind, as she travels back from LA to her childhood home in Ohio, confronting the loss of the biggest love of her life. Mel Brooks compares Randolph to the late Gilda Radner for her audacious humor, her generosity and her ability to take us from tears to laughter in the same minute. Randolph’s previous solo show, “Squeeze Box,” won the LA Weekly’s Best Solo Show and the LA Times Ovation Award for Best Solo Show in 2002. It played to sold-out audiences at The Marsh for eight months last year.
