Bob Robinson for State Representative Emerges as Forerunner in House Race for Eaton County

Bob Robinson, candidate for state representative in Eaton County, Michigan State House District 71, was cited as a forerunner for race in Eaton County.

Lansing, MI, February 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Robinson has raised more contributions than any other Democratic or Republican candidate county wide. The candidate, who supports the movement toward Clean Money Campaign Reform, has raised his campaign contributions from individual contributors, and is not seeking lobbyist money from special interests.

“Pundits told us that it was impossible, said Robinson, “saying that times were tough and support from working people and volunteers could never go toe to toe with lobbyist money. But with our first year-end financial filing now completed we are proving them wrong. Although there's still a long way to go, $10, $20, $50 and $100 contributions from individual citizens have helped us raise more money than any other candidate in our district so far.”

On Friday, February 5, the Swing State Project, Michigan Blogger, and several other publishers reported that the campaign is a forerunner in the race.
