U.S. Navy SEALs to perform beach landing on North Shore Beach in St. Petersburg to challenge Thunder Water Polo in exhibition game

St. Petersburg, FL, February 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Navy SEALs will perform a beach landing at North Shore Beach in St. Petersburg, Florida as a warm-up for the much anticipated water polo exhibition game against Thunder Water Polo Club.

St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster and Thunder Water Polo welcome the Navy SEALs to St. Petersburg’s North Shore Pool on Sunday, March 14th, at 9:45a.m.; 901 N. Shore Dr. NE. The Navy will also bring along its popular mobile flight simulator for the public to try its turn behind the stick of a Navy fighter jet.

This event is open and free to the public.

Program:
9:45-10a.m. / Navy SEALs “Beach Landing” and pre-game ceremony begins;
10:00-10:03a.m. / National Anthem with color guard;
10:03-10:10a.m. / St. Pete Mayor Bill Foster comments;
10:10-10:13a.m. / Reading of Proclamation by Mayor Bill Foster;
10:13-10:20a.m. / US Navy Admiral's comments;
10:20-10:25a.m. / Presentation of a "Game Ball" to the Admiral and Mayor;
10:25-10:30a.m. / Quick Player Warm-Up;
10:30-11:30a.m. / Exhibition Game between U.S. Navy SEALs and Thunder Water Polo - Mayor & Admiral throw out the first game ball to start the game;
11:30-Noon / Meet and Greet with the U.S. Navy SEALs with the general public.
