Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Dementia Care … But Forgot to Ask Presented by Comfort Keepers of Stuart

This seminar is designed to help family members who have a loved one with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. They will learn techniques that can improve the quality of life for the individual with dementia and the whole family.

Stuart, FL, March 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Comfort Keepers®, a local Home Health Care provider, will be hosting a Free “Brunch and Learn” seminar “Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Dementia Care … But Forgot to ask” at the Crexent Business Center, 850 North Federal Hwy in Stuart, at 11am on March 3rd. The seminar is designed to help family members who have a loved one with dementia. Some of the topics covered include Care Techniques, Local Resources, and Coping Tactics with featured speaker Donna True.

Donna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Social Work She has devoted her professional career to working with those who are affected by Alzheimer’s or other types of memory loss disorders. Donna has been a support group facilitator since 1994, is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Lucie Council of Social Agencies, and is a community Education Coordinator for the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
