A classically trained singer, songwriter and producer, Kyonté’s collaborations include co-producer of the Grammy-nominated single “Woman” by Raheem DeVaughn (Jive Records), co-writer and co-producer of “Lights Go Out” for Foxy Brown (Koch Records), and co-producer of “Hearts Desire” for Brent Jones (EMI Gospel). Most recently, Kyonté co-wrote “Everything Changes” and “Trippin” by Grammy nominated artist Ledisi from the "Turn Me Loose" CD.

As a recording artist, Kyonté won all categories won all categories for which he was nominated in the 2008 DMV Awards, an awards program that spotlights the best music in the DC/MD/VA region. In addition to being named the DMV Entertainer of the Year and Artist Most Likely to Succeed, his song “Body Shop” was honored as the Best Recording. Kyonté also won Velocity Magazine’s 2009 Awards for Best New Artist, Best R&B Male, and Best R&B Album for “Body Shop.”
