Cincinnati, OH, March 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Studio 144 presents 2 roots bands booked for the Blue Rock this Thursday.

Opening up is west coast's Roots Revolution featuring lead vocalists Omega Fire and Haznebakuk. Come listen to them chant righteous revolutionary lyrics set to roots rhythms and a solid African heartbeat. King and Queen give praises together honoring the Hola Trinity and the sacred ways of Love and Creation while burning fire on wicked Babylon. The two lead vocalists share the stage, supporting each other, and inviting all of Jah's children to I-nite in Strength, Truth, & Love

The music of Roots Revolution brings the heartbeat of the Afrikan kette with roots rhythms, while emanating spiritual authority over wickedness, inspiring thoughts of Livity and Inity for all who hear Jah call. Their reggae sound builds from the Afrikan heartbeat into layers of rhythmic keys, resonant guitar riffs, a roots bass vibe, extra classic and West African percussion, dubbed out with solid, positive, upright, fiery lyrics. Vocalists Haznebakuk and Omega Fire feel blessed to share their work, inspired through the personality of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I Jah RasTafarI and Empress Menen. Roots Revolution creates reggae rhythms dubbed with dancehall and alchemaic word combinations of liberating thought brought in the reflection of Father and Mother, King & Queen, Alpha & Omega, together in Love, honoring the Might and Power of the Hola Trinity, our Elders, our Ancestry, and all the Children of Creation.

Declarations of self empowerment echo from the revolutionary vocalists' lyrical resonation from beginning to end, while roots rhythms and Afrikan percussion sooth your heart: a healing reflection and irie profession of conscious remembrance for the Healing of Jah Nations. Roots Revolution and Studio 144 is a calling for the Seals of 144,000, Gatekeepers of the Kingdom of Zion. In these times, as wickedness crumbles from its foundation of sand, as the broken promises of the world's leaders are not met, the people shall look to the singers and players for guidance. As it has been foretold for thousands of years, the singers and players of instruments shall tell the other half of the story that has never been told. For all the springs of the Most High Jah dwell within the singer and players of instruments in this time. Welcome to Roots Revolution as One People, One Aim, One Destiny, One Love.

Roots jams, resonant Afrikan percussion, dancehall vibes, and a very powerful and positive message make Roots Revolution a rewarding and fun experience every time! They guarantee a high energy show that will not leave you or anyone else uninspired. They invite you to activate your Roots Revolution today.

Our second act, Duppy a' Jamba comes on at midnight with a smokey ska rock-steady reggae dub party. They bring a sound that is filtered through old jazz and soul, delta blues, old timey country and saucy zydeco, funk and punk, industrial and hip hop...political and personal...from the city streets to the hills and hollars... Started in the spring of 2006 and minted at a legendary 420 house party, Duppy a'Jamba began as an experimental quartet playing simple countrified ska and reggae. Since then the group has grown into a 7 piece juggernaut of old timey ska, languid rocksteady, funky-punky reggae and smoked out dub delighting dancers and drinkers, smokers and thinkers across the cincinnati area. They have opened the cincy punk fest, they have closed the cincy ska fest, they have been nominated for two CEA's 'best world music'. They are seven men on a mission...ghost of the crawfish...every spoil a style... The Duppies are an amazing old school aggro-Ska band that plays with furious Punk energy. If you like old Dub Reggae and early Ska, you'll enjoy Duppy a'Jamba. See more about them @ www.myspace.com/duppyjamba...

Both groups provide good vibes, roots music & reggae jams. Roots Revolution specializes in righteous lyrics and African roots percussion--Duppy a' Jamba grooves ska/reggae bringing in the new & old-- enjoy some warm Spring vibes with a night of reggae music for free @ the Blue Rock Tavern, 4114 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati this Thursday, March 11th from 9pm-2am.
