Cupsogue Pictures Announce "Purgatory" Film

Cupsogue Pictures have announced that they will be producing a new film about how Hell escapes through its boundaries and into Purgatory, and ultimately, Heaven.

Los Angeles, CA, March 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ‘Welcome to Purgatory’, which is being produced by British producer Gene Fallaize, is not a religious story in any way, but more of an action/adventure movie.

“It’s not about explaining Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory to the audience, it’s more of a fantasy-adventure style film that takes place in those places, rather than being about them. The film specifically does not feature Jesus or the Devil for those very reasons.” said Fallaize.

Fallaize, who was nominated for two industry awards last year, thinks that the film will appeal to mass audiences, irrelevant of their thoughts regarding religion.

“It’s very fantasy-based, which will appeal to fans of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ films among others, as it has similar undertones. The film isn’t about if those places exist, but more of an adventure story that takes place in those locations, which are just amazing to explore, irrelevant of whether or not people think they actually exist.” said Fallaize.

The film, which was written by industry-newcomers Marcus Ako and Tony Cook, is set almost exclusively in the afterworld, and will be directed by Darren S. Cook, who is also directing Fallaize’s next picture ‘Sure Fire Hit’.

‘Welcome to Purgatory’ is scheduled to commence filming at Pinewood Studios in London this summer in time for theatrical release early next year.
