)-- A month-long watercolor exhibit of the original works of Long Beach resident, Debbie Lewis, has been scheduled at the El Dorado Nature Center for June, 2010.
The artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, June 5 from 1-3 PM. The exhibit will include Ms. Lewis’ nature-themed art, including florals, animals and landscapes.
“Since I started painting,” Ms. Lewis said, “I have mainly been drawn to nature themes, so it is an honor to be able to show my work at the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach.”
Ms. Lewis is a self-taught artist whose talent developed in the mid-90s. Since moving to Long Beach in 2008, she has participated in numerous group and solo shows and regularly displays her work at the downtown Long Beach 2nd Saturday Art Walk.
