Dr. Alan Nasar, an orthopedic surgeon at AOSMI who assisted Dr. Greller in the surgery, worked with the manufacturer in developing the design of this cutting-edge technology. Dr. Greller earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Temple University, and spent an extra year specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, knee, and ankle. Dr. Alan Nasar, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at AOSMI, specializes in joint replacement, avascular necrosis, knee and hip arthroscopy, and fracture and trauma care. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Art and Science, New York City, where he received specialized training in biomechanics and biometrics.
