Pacific Ridge School Athletic Director Earns Certification from National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association

San Diego, CA, March 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Darren Lawlor has served as Athletic Director for Pacific Ridge School since its opening in 2007. Last year, Lawlor partnered Pacific Ridge School with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) to establish the core values of teamwork, discipline, respect and goal-setting within the school community. This year, Lawlor joins the ranks of a very elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators to claim the designation, Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA). The CAA designation is awarded by the National Interscholastic Athletics Administrators Association (NIAAA) for the purpose of improving performance, maximizing the benefits received by the school community through effective leadership, and promoting professional standards, practices and ethics.

To earn the CAA designation, Lawlor had to meet a number of criteria, adhere to the NIAAA strict code of ethics, complete coursework relevant to athletic administration, and successfully complete the CAA examination.
