Oceanic XT900(sm) is capable of reaching downhole temperatures of 220 degrees C (428 degrees F), significantly exceeding the capability of any suitable fluids on the market today.

The fluid has been tested for six months at 220 degrees C and qualifies in accordance with the industry standard for subsea control fluids, ISO 13628-6 Annex C. Oceanic XT900(sm) is biodegradable, and a natural extension of MacDermid Offshore Solutions' Oceanic HW (High Water) product line, leading the offshore fluids industry with green products since 1979.
