Cologne, Germany, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Dirk Bauermann and BallSide.com share the same goal to establish a new concept in German basketball. That is why the founders of BallSide.com approached Dirk Bauermann, Head Coach of the German National Basketball Team, to present him their web-based solution for professionalizing youth and amateur basketball and to create a Basketball Statistics Community for basketball teams from all over the world. Germany’s most famous basketball coach was excited about the idea of reaching out to kids through the internet and getting them back on the basketball court.
“Finally, a website that assists coaches and gets kids excited about playing basketball”, the 52 year old commented.
Coach Bauermann is the most recent testimonial for the ambitious project, which he calls “the analysis tool for coaches on all levels.”
BallSide.com was developed at the German Sport University Cologne, Germany, and introduced in early February 2010. The web-based application eases organization and team management and was developed especially for successful coaching on and off the court: The extensive statistics database allows coaches to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their own team in order to make necessary adjustments in practices and games.
Furthermore, the game statistics on BallSide.com allow youth and amateur basketball players to share their performances with friends and fans and showcase themselves internationally.
Though primarily targeted at coaches and players, every basketball enthusiast can be part of the BallSide.com network and play an active role in the development of his/her favorite local team.
