Round Rock, TX, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- The Texas Self Storage Association is hosting one final legal seminar for this year as part of their Storage Education Series. The legal seminar should be of interest to self storage owners, managers and developers because of the recent changes following the legislative session. This is an opportunity for self-storage professionals in Texas to acquaint themselves with the critical changes made to vehicle and boat lien sale procedures.
The recently published TSSA Goldbook© includes these critical changes but can be a bit daunting when facing a critical situation without benefit of prior review. As an extra bonus, all attendees at the TSSA Legal Seminar will receive a free copy of the newly released TSSA Auction Handbook: A Step-by-Step Guide to Self-Storage Foreclosures.
Anyone involved in self-storage is urged to attend this seminar to familiarize themselves with the laws affecting the self-storage industry in Texas. “We have seen an increase in the number of calls we get from members concerning lien sales procedures,” states TSSA Executive Director Ginny Sutton.
Registration is still open for the March 24 seminar in Houston, but seats are filling up. Those interested in attending may register online at www.txssa.org or by calling 888-259-4902. Details are also available on the Association’s website.
The Texas Self Storage Association was established in 1986 and is a non-profit trade association dedicated to enhancing the quality of the self-storage industry in Texas. The Association provides opportunities for member to increase their knowledge of the self-storage industry through education, research, discussion and exchange of information.
