)-- Lakeside Pottery, Ceramic School and Studio in Stamford is now offering a one-time 2 1/2 hour lesson on the potter’s wheel. This lesson was designed for the beginner and for those who have taken beginning pottery classes in the past and would like a refresher workshop. This workshop will introduce the basic skills of working with clay on the potter's wheel and will provide you with the taste and understanding of what it takes to use the potter's wheel. No previous experience required.
Workshop will include a demonstration and hands-on clay experience. Tools will be provided - participants need to bring their own towel.
Where: 543 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT
Who: 15 year and older.
Limit: 10 students per session
Cost: $60 including material and firing fees for one pot. Each additional pot kept and fired will have a $10 fee.

Instruction activities for children and adults include group classes (beginners and advanced), private lessons, after school art for kids programs and summer camp. Open Studio time can be purchased for independent work. Teachers professional development, corporate team building workshops, custom programs, birthday party events for children or adults and gift certificates are also offered. Our gallery include diverse handmade pottery work made by our instructors.
