Los Angeles, CA, March 24, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Seminal Films is pleased to announce the release of Float, a dramatic comedy centered around the amusing and offbeat stories of a suburban ice cream parlor.
Ray Fulton (Gregory Itzen of TV’s “24”), the work-aholic owner of a Glendale ice cream parlor, is abandoned by his neglected wife (Cristine Rose of TV’s “Heroes”). Ray now has to face mid-life and moves into the bachelor pad of his two twenty-something employees (Hrach Titizian of TV’s “24”, Johnny Asuncion). Things get wacky as Ray tries to adjust to single life, and he receives a surprise visit from his estranged daughter (Lauren Cohan of TV’s “Supernatural”). With its quirky humor and hip soundtrack, Float is a family film that everyone can appreciate.
The Armenian Weekly says Float is “on the list of best Indie comedies your friends have never heard of but need to be shown.” The film won the Audience Award at the Dances With Films Festival, Best Screenplay at the ARPA International Fest, and Best Film at the Fil-Am Fest.
Float is directed by Johnny Asuncion and produced by Zenith Films and Hrach Titizian. It is Executive Produced by Rui Da Silva and Mathius Mack Gertz of Seminal Films. The film has a release date of April 6, 2010.
