Join Adelphi University's Job & Internship Expo, run by the Center for Career Development, on April 7, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m, in the Ruth S. Harley University Center. A diverse group of employers, representing a wide variety of career fields will be offering full-time, part-time, summer jobs, and internships. Open to undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni, it is Adelphi’s largest recruiting event of the year.

Garden City, NY, March 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 7, 2010. That’s when members of the Adelphi University community will be able to participate in a Job & Internship Expo and a Health Fair on the Garden City campus at 1 South Avenue.

The Job & Internship Expo, run by the Center for Career Development, will take place in the Ruth S. Harley University Center, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A diverse group of employers, representing a wide variety of career fields will be offering full-time, part-time, summer jobs, and internships. Open to undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni, it is Adelphi’s largest recruiting event of the year. Some of the organizations expected to participate include Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP, Aflac, Geico Insurance, Lenox Hill Hospital, W.B. Mason, YAI Network, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, to name a few. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the free Health Fair, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the University’s Center for Recreation and Sports, with more than 20 exhibitors, a farmer’s market, and cooking competition. Attendees can get a massage, learn yoga, be screened for blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels, attend programs on wellness, and get tips on managing workplace stress.
