The SHOW! by Out of Hand Theater Opens Fri, April 2nd

A late night freak show carnival. The Show is wildly fun audience run event. Funny and and full of heart, The Show! is never the same twice. A ridiculously interactive Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Event, The Show! melds improv, athleticism and circus sideshow.

Atlanta, GA, March 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- When: Fridays @ 11pm April 2nd - June 18th

*no performance May 7th and 14th

Where: Horizon Theatre in Little Five Points
How Much: $5 Cover $5

Featuring Nemana the Haitian Vodoo Princess, JoJo the Amazing Rubber Boy, Minnie Pearl the Bearded Lady, Saint Alice the Contortionist, the Titillating Strip Tease of Chik Ramon, and Zero Zero the Undying Man.

The 10 in 1 Sideshow is the longest running Side Show in America, still playing on Coney Island. Out of Hand takes the format and remixes it into raucous late night Event Theater, exploring themes of commerce and exploitation all wrapped up inside a big fun event. The SHOW! is bafflingly cheap (a mere $5 cover,) but there are always opportunities to upgrade your experience. Purchase Carnival Tickets to play games, see secret performances, negotiate with the performers for better versions of the Acts they are presenting, make The SHOW! a little more dangerous, a lot more funny, and even more risque.

In classic Out of Hand style, this original event uses the performer's personal stories, lives, foibles and inner freaks to celebrate the beautiful and grotesque, the good the bad and the ugly inside us all.

When asked, “Is it real?,” director Barry Carman replied, “Oh it’s all real. Some of it’s really real, some of it’s really fake. But it’s all really good."

Directed by Barry Carman
Conceived by Out of Handers Barry Carman and Kathleen Donahoe with Atlanta Imporivisors Randy Havens and Jillian Fratkin.

Performed by Atlanta actors Justin Welborn, Joe Sykes, Kathleen Donahoe, Steven Westdahl, Mauree Culberson and Caitlin Reeves with guest performances by Amy Rush, Randy Havens, Googie Utterhardt and more...
