Boston Band The Van Burens Play The Cave in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Boston-based The Van Burens play "The Cave" in Chapel Hill, NC, Tuesday night March 30. This is the first North Carolina show for The Van Burens, as part of their inaugural national tour in support of their debut release "The Eager EP."

Chapel Hill, NC, March 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Boston's The Van Burens look forward to taking the stage at Chapel Hill's "The Cave" on Tuesday night, March 30. After a high-energy sold-out show at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA, on Friday night and a dance party to remember at their home away from home, "The Beacon" in Brattleboro, VT, The Van Burens find themselves headed south.

The Cave, Chapel Hill's oldest tavern, offers great local and national original live music acts almost every night. Also hitting the stage Tuesday night will be Ann Arbor, MI, indie duo "Mahoney".

A fun-loving and animated band, The Van Burens strive to make each concert experience unique. Whether hosting a bathrobe dance party, dressing up as Mt. Rushmore, remixing Christmas songs, or rollicking through a set list full of surprises, the VBs make every night a good time. Their unique and intricate original songs like Taft Punk and Jeffrey's World are regular (and highly danceable) crowd pleasers. Their entire catalog of music (including the occasional brilliantly-reworked cover tune) is played with passion, care and a good dose of humor. To note: all five guys share the role of vocalist.
