SOUNDBAR Entertainment Mobile DJ Company Gives Away Free Dances to Local Schools

New Jersey-based DJ company provides entertainment free of charge for cash-strapped school events

Elmwood Park, NJ, April 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Due to the current state of the economy, many schools are forced to cut their budgets for extracurricular activities such as fun fairs, picnics, proms and dances. In many cases, smaller budgets have led to providing subpar entertainment, and some schools have even been forced to cancel their events altogether.

In an effort to help local middle and high schools with their fiscal dilemma, Elmwood Park, New Jersey-based DJ company SOUNDBAR Entertainment is giving away free dance music packages for the rest of the school year through what they call their “DJ Stimulus Package” contest.

The contest was organized by David Pellot, owner of SOUNDBAR Entertainment. "Regardless of the issues happening with our economy, everyone deserves to have fun – especially children and teenagers. A school-sponsored dance party is a great way for them to release stress, let loose and have fun with their peers. We’re more than happy to help schools put together a great event for them,” he says.

SOUNDBAR Entertainment bills itself a “mobile nightclub” DJ company, which provides interactive, nightclub-style entertainment packages for parties and events in New Jersey and New York. They have provided DJ entertainment for many events, such as sweet 16s, birthdays, proms and after-prom events, corporate and promotional events, block parties and more. The company is a member of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (NAME) and the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA), and is fully insured.
